When I create my formulations I keep what my customers want at the top of my agenda. I start with the question – “What do I want this product to achieve?” The first step involves deciding on the basic formula. It is important that I design a formula that has the right feel and consistency. Then I decide on the plant-based ingredients that will make it have the right effect.
